Ur\u010ditou variantou jsou um\u011bl\u00e1 sladidla, ale o jejich \u00fa\u010dinc\u00edch na lidsk\u00e9 zdrav\u00fd u\u017e toho bylo naps\u00e1no tolik, \u017ee je t\u011b\u017ek\u00e9 si vybrat tu opravdu zaru\u010denou v\u011bdeckou studii, zda \u0161kod\u00ed v\u00edc ne\u017e cukr, nebo jsou ke slazen\u00ed vhodn\u00e1. Lid\u00e9 tedy zkou\u0161ej\u00ed dal\u0161\u00ed v\u011bci a doufaj\u00ed, \u017ee si za cukr n\u00e1hradu najdou. Obl\u00edbenou se stala t\u0159eba stevie a zkou\u0161\u00ed se i jin\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00ed n\u00e1hrady za rafinovan\u00fd cukr.   Jednou z mo\u017enost\u00ed sladidlo xylitol, kter\u00e9 poch\u00e1z\u00ed z p\u0159\u00edrody a nach\u00e1z\u00ed se v mnoha druz\u00edch ovoce a zeleniny (\u0161vestky, maliny, jahody). Xylitol (tak\u00e9 zvan\u00fd jako d\u0159evn\u00fd nebo b\u0159ezov\u00fd cukr) se p\u0159irozen\u011b nach\u00e1z\u00ed i v lidsk\u00e9m organismu. Pro snadn\u00e9 pou\u017eit\u00ed si lze toto p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00ed sladidlo zakoupit v pr\u00e1\u0161ku a pou\u017e\u00edvat ho v\u0161ude tam, kde cukr pot\u0159ebujeme. Toto sladidlo m\u00e1 o 40% ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed kalorick\u00fd obsah, a proto by se na jeho konzumaci m\u011bli soust\u0159edit hlavn\u011b lid\u00e9, kte\u0159\u00ed pot\u0159ebuj\u00ed omezit p\u0159\u00edsun kalori\u00ed. Dal\u0161\u00ed p\u0159ednost\u00ed sladidla je jeho ne\u0161kodnost pro n\u00e1\u0161 chrup. Z tohoto d\u016fvodu se dnes p\u0159id\u00e1v\u00e1 do zubn\u00edch past, \u017ev\u00fdka\u010dek a bonbon\u016f. Xylitol by si m\u011bli vyzkou\u0161et tak\u00e9 lid\u00e9, kte\u0159\u00ed maj\u00ed vysok\u00fd obsah cukru v krvi.
